Curriculum

Curriculum(new curriculum from Fiscal 2008)
Students with diversified background and with strong will to pursue academic excellence should be able to attain skills necessary to initiate specific projects that apply ICT to the society with his/her sense of awareness and issues given; for which, the curriculum has been redesigned so that students are able to flexibly arrange classes in accordance with needs and the level of skills and knowledge rather than off-the-shelf classes, and thereby, students can effectively obtain advanced and practical academic achievements from basics to applied.

Common subjects
Students are able to learn all skills necessary as an expert involved in designing, constructing, and operating information systems. The curriculum is designed so that students who did not take undergraduate classes of informatics are able to learn from basic.

For Healthcare Informatics Course, a program is currently under development, which will provide students a possibility to obtain a certification for specialized nurse (nursing information) by taking certain classes of Nursing Science Research Course set out within this graduate school. Also, a preparatory program for certified healthcare information technologists (Japan Association for Medical Informatics) is also available.
